 UPCOMING KPACT EVENT

Friday, October 20, 2017,
5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
at the Tribe Healing Arts Center
2 CEs available ($20)

Understanding Infantilism & The ABDL (Adult Baby Diaper Lover) Community.

Working with clients who are a part of the ABDL community can be difficult when there is little clinical information/training on infantilism.  People within this community often struggle with feeling marginalized within the larger kink communities, and then struggle additionally with finding a knowledgeable and kink-positive therapist who can help them and their partner(s) understand their desires and how they fit within the larger context of their lives.  This lecture/discussion will highlight basic knowledge about the topic of infantilism and discuss clinical implications for individual and couples therapy.

Presenter: Laura Grimes, LCSW

At the conclusion of the evening, participants will be able to:

  1. Speak with understanding the basic concepts and terms used about infantilism.
  2. Assess a client’s sexual identity and the possible behaviors and implications associated with it.
  3. Identify the possible strengths and struggles individuals and couples may face when incorporating infantilism into their identity/lives.

RSVP by calling 847-568-1100 or email Tricia at [email protected]
