Society can create conflicts around how we see ourselves and how others around us see and treat us. This can have a strong impact on personal relationships and family interactions.
I create a sex-positive and affirming therapeutic environment to explore current struggles and help in making connections with family history, learned adaptations and patterns of communication.
My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental. We work together to explore paths to healing, new approaches to conflict resolution, increasing awareness and understanding new or different ways to communicate.
It is important to feel supported, understood and heard. I have had 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples or family constellations who find themselves in crisis or are undergoing situations causing them stress, anxiety or trauma. During those years, I often have been able to create a safe place to explore experiences, conflicts and desires. I believe that we all have the capacity to accept, love and heal in our own ways. Telling your story in a compassionate, supportive environment without fear of judgment is the first step to understanding yourself and your connection to others.
