Come to our support group for sex workers, current and former. Whether you are in need of resources or support, can provide support for others or just need a space to vent, please join us!

We look forward to seeing you at 3984 N Sheridan: Group Room 2.

The recent passage of SESTA is already changing the landscape of online advertising.  During our meeting, we will continue our discussion of “SESTA & How Laws Affect Sex Workers.” The topic is just a starting point or place to come back to—the group is open to the needs and interests of the members.

We will have refreshments! There is a suggested donation of $10 per person, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Please send us a message if anyone needs a ride so we can arrange help getting to and from the meeting.

18+ only

The monthly (on Saturdays) topic is a starting place for conversation and connection. Our intention is to follow the needs and interests of those in attendance.  If you would like support or feedback on another topic or issue, please feel free to speak to a facilitator at the outset of the group or to share in the group.

This support group is for individuals who identify currently or previously as sex workers, including but not limited to escorts, cam/phone performers, professional dominants/fetish workers, adult film actors and strippers. If you are in the sex trade, you may experience stigma, shame, guilt or isolation. You may find it is a struggle to develop, manage and sustain positive and supportive personal relationships. You may have interpersonal conflicts within the industry, or difficulty with depression and/or anxiety. Support groups are a way to build community, share experiences and gain emotional support from others.

This group is co-sponsored by SWOP Chicago (Sex Worker Outreach Project) and is open to anyone who has previously or is currently working in the sex trade. (For the safety and protection of participants, this group is not open to consumers of sex industry services.) The group is facilitated by Brandon Haydon, LCSW and Cassandra Damm, LCSW.
