We are very happy to introduce Dena Campbell, MA. Dena joined the Green House in January of this year. We talked to Dena about her decision to join the Green House and what it means for her.

How did you learn about the Green House?

I learned about the Green House fellowship from an email at my graduate school, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

What drew you to the Green House?

I was immediately drawn to the extensive educational/professional development that would be provided and the opportunity to work with the focal communities.

What are you hoping to gain by being in the Green House and how do you imagine it will impact your future?

I am hoping to extend my therapeutic skills in working with diverse populations and I hope to grow in competence.

In the short amount of time, since you joined the Green House, what has surprised you most and why?

I am most surprised at how quickly I felt like I was part of a community. Everyone has been so welcoming and it feels so genuine.

Anything else professionally that you are particularly looking forward to this year?

I am looking forward to stretching myself both professionally and personally as I grow more confident in my therapeutic identity.
