I work with adolescents and adults who may be facing relationship conflict, sexual concerns, LGBTQ+ identity issues, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and school and work performance problems.
As a marriage and family therapist, I see relationships, couples, and families, as well as individuals. I believe in not only understanding the intimate and familial relationships that you are a part of, but also the larger cultural and societal systems in which you exist that may influence you and your relationships.
My approach to therapy involves looking with you for the patterns that may have you struggling in your relationships or daily living, in order to help you to identify more adaptive patterns. Together, we can explore obstacles that may be getting in the way of change and try to lift those constraints.
I believe in the importance of working collaboratively with each person that walks into my room, in order to tailor the work around what is best for you or your relationship. I offer a sex-positive, affirming space because I strongly believe in the need to be open-minded and keep an open-heart in order for real change to occur.
