I work from a sex-positive, body-positive, kink-positive, queer lens with individuals within the LGBTQ+ and queer communities and those in all types of relationships and partnerships.
In the society we live in, we are often told that vulnerability is a weakness –and weakness is bad! But it is my experinece that through vulnerability and relationship, you can relieve mental and emotional pain.
Seeking support and help through counseling or psychotherapy can be just what is needed to help you begin to release that which no longer serves you.
I pull from many different therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic theories to help to restore hope and to facilitate healing by helping you discover how to cope with day-to-day environmental stressors and life transitions while working to minimize anxiety, depression, grief, family or relationship issues.
Please let me know, if you would like to step towards a more whole and satisfying life.
