I am passionate about working with culturally diverse individuals, especially Spanish-speaking clients. I am interested in exploring how society, environment, culture and gender norms impacts interpersonal relationships and identities.
As a therapist, I use a strengths-based approach to therapy. I am interested in getting to know you and your story. I strive to create a safe place and a genuine connection to explore parts of your story that has left you with fear, confusion, sadness and/or anger. I believe that you are the expert in your life and I am here to provide an empathic and non-judgmental space for you to explore your past stories, relationships and current situations to be able to gain awareness about the impact of difficulties in your everyday life.
To have a positive experience and to start your healing journey, I will work with you to form a strong relationship where you will feel able to identify barriers that might arise along the way. I will be there along the way to provide support, compassion, empathy and to cheer you on to becoming your most authentic self.
