I am a queer, fat-positive, and sex-positive counselor. I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults who hold sexual, affectional, intersex, and gender expansive identities.
As a therapist, I believe we are heavily impacted by stigma and oppression, which can make us feel disconnected on all levels: personally, relationally and systemically. As your therapist, I will meet you where you are at with curiosity, waarmth and unconditional positive regard to support your exploration of the forces impacting you and the strengths you may carry within.
If you are struggling with concerns outside of your identity, such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, trauma, relationship issues, I would be honored to walk alongside you and support you as you discover new ways of being and relating that serve you.
Creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel safe and affirmed is paramount to successful therapy. I incorporate a variety of tools including visual art, music, writing, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to help you explore, learn, grow and heal.
You deserve to feel heard, held, and understood. I look forward to connecting with you!
