I’m passionate about working with diverse individuals who may have various cultural and ethnic backgrounds, differing immigration and socioeconomic status, sexualities and gender identities, and abilities.

I believe developing and building on your strengths and abilities can support you to make meaningful change in your life. I can help you regardless of your age to explore, identify and understand your thoughts and behaviors and how they are connected to your feelings.

Identifying areas of growth and seeking help takes an enormous amount of courage. With courage comes vulnerability. I strive to offer a non-judgmental, empathic and safe space and therapeutic environment.

Sometimes during our more difficult times we can feel overwhelmed, hopeless and even helpless.  Having someone that can be “your cheerleader” in these situations, can help improve your mood and create a sense of control over personal actions and choices. This can help you to take actions that are more congruent with your life goals and values leading to increased feelings of hope and confidence.

As you become more confident and courageous in your life, you can start to see and utilize your own power and voice and become your own cheerleader ready to explore and progress through your own journey. I believe life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond and react to what happens to you. You have the power to shape your present and future. Together we can work to identify and develop your personal strengths and utilize them to increase feelings of hope and confidence to take on life’s journey with its ups and downs.
