Promises Promises Promises!
One topic that I have heard over and over over the years has been around breaking/keeping negotiated promises. Now not everyone needs or wants to have hard line negotiated promises. But for others kept promises provide degrees of safety and trust. And broken ones can destroy good relational intentions. There can be issues around:
Hi risk sex
Hi risk relationships
Staying out beyond promised time agreements
Not keeping promises around time, energy,
Going past one’s own boundaries
And so on.
So hows’s it going? Let’s discuss.
Hello friends. We invite you to a Poly Support Group facilitated by poly & kink aware elders, Rami Henrich and Cindy Trawinski. This group is a community building effort formed in response to interest from the poly community. Support groups provide community interaction, dialogue and interpersonal support. They are not meant to replace individual therapy, counseling or medical advice.
The session is scheduled from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Tribe Healing Arts, 1819-21 W. Belmont, Chicago (2 block west of the Lincoln & Ashland intersection).
Street parking is available in the area.
Fee — Recognizing our time and the cost of use of the space, a fee of $10 per person is requested. We know that this may be difficult for some. We encourage each of you to contribute what feels fair. Please do not let money be an obstacle to your participation. Feel free to speak with us if you have questions or concerns.
Want to Pay Online? We have a new online payment option available for those who prefer it over cash at the time of the group. Please click here to pay online. https://www.kpact.xyz/product/chicago-polyamory-support-group/
Please RSVP at the Chicago Polyamory Meetup site. If you cannot attend, please change your RSVP to NO, so others on the wait list can. We look forward to sharing ourselves, our issues, concerns, joys, successes etc… together in a meaningful way. Hope that you will join us.
