Eli Zucker, LCSW

We are very happy to introduce Eli Zucker, LCSW. Eli joined the Green House Fellowship program in January of this year. We talked to Eli about his decision to join the Green House and what it means for him.

How did you learn about the Green House?

I learned about the Green House through my friend, Essie Shachar-Hill, who previously participated in the fellowship and is now leading the program at LifeWorks.

What drew you to the Green House?

I just moved to Chicago and thought it would be a great opportunity to get in touch with local clinical work.

What are you hoping to gain by being in the Green House and how do you imagine it will impact your future?

I am hoping to gain more depth in my clinical practice and am hoping it enable me to confidently support a wider spectrum of clients.

In the short amount of time, since you joined the Green House, what has surprised you most and why?

No surprises so far, but I have appreciated the eagerness of the LW staff to engage and support fellows’ learning.

Anything else professionally that you are particularly looking forward to this year?

I’m looking forward to supervision, which has always been a rich supplement to my social work practice.
