LifeWorks is proud to announce that Elizabeth (Betsy) Duke, Psy.D. has stepped into the role of Clinical Director and Danielle Carlson, LMFT, has taken on the role of Director of Training.

We are super excited by the changes happening at LifeWorks.  Betsy and Danielle are both highly competent clinicians who have been working with the LGBTQIA+, non-monogamy and kink/BDSM communities for several years.

Betsy brings 10 years of clinical experience to her new position and is already making strides to refine and elevate LifeWorks’ therapeutic capacities, improve client services and enhance the workplace experience of our therapists. Betsy will be leading the internship selection process for LifeWorks as a site or track within the Illinois Psychological Association Predoctoral Internship Consortium (IPAPIC).

Danielle, who brings previous experience with training and educational programming, will be leading the Green House, our in-house post-graduate training program, into its fifth cohort in 2020! She will also bring new energy to KPACT, the Kink & Polyamory Aware Chicago Therapists professional organization founded by LifeWorks in 2014.

Welcome Danielle and Betsy!
