LifeWorks is thrilled to welcome the 2024 Green House psychotherapy fellows!
Each January, a new group of fellows joins our team as part of our 12-month training and mentorship program, the Green House. In 2024, we are proud to introduce eight new fellows: Alma Quiroz, M. Ed., Amanda Lopez-Martinez, ALMFT, Amz Stump, LPC, Erin Houchin, MA, Kaitlin Grant McGirr, MSMFT, Leah Casey, MA, Naseem Saleh, MA, and Ruth Johnson, LCPC.
In the coming year, these therapists will spend 12 months on staff at LifeWorks, work with clients, and focus on:
- Developing cultural humility and knowledge related to clients in the LGBTQ+, non-monogamous, kink and sex work communities
- Strengthening their identities as therapists and learning how to use their unique strengths in clinical relationships
- Deepening their skills from within a depth psychotherapy perspective
Alma, Amanda, Amz, Erin, Kaitlin, Leah, Naseem, and Ruth are part of the ninth Green House cohort. As part of their training, they will support a caseload of clients, attend weekly trainings, receive individual clinical supervision, participate in site visits to local sex-positive institutions, and engage in other learning opportunities.
With an abundance of learning spaces and personal and professional support, the Green House year has often been a pivotal chapter in past fellows’ professional journeys. We’re excited to grow with the 2024 cohort!
